Princess was more than just a rabbit, she was the first mini lop we bought as a "pet" that lead to the rabbitry we have today. She was almost like a family member and we will miss her dearly. She has many grand children, but none will be able to take her place in our hearts.

Welcome to JOE-KERR Rabbitry owned by Richard D'Ambrogio, located in Hopewell Junction, New York. The rabbitry is named after my two children, Joseph and Kerrie. We breed Mini Lop rabbits exclusively. I started raising rabbits back as a teenager in 4H in the late 1970's (just to give you an idea of my age). I raised Netherland Dwarfs, French Lops, and of course Mini Lops (they where just being introduced into the country at that time). After a number of years of being out of the rabbit world, we decided in 2001 to buy a pet pair of mini lops from a local breeder for the kids. This pair led to the rabbitry we have today with many quality mini lops. I have taken over the rabbitry as my hobby and my kids still help me out in their spare time when they can. We enjoy going to shows and meeting all of the rabbit breeder friends we have made over the years! |
